Entertainment Desk: Popular singer Asif Akbar thinks that the age of 24-25 years is the most suitable time for marriage. In a Facebook post urging banks to give easy loans for marriages, Asif lamented, "Sad but true, Bagha Bagha leaders of student movement and their colleagues are still bachelors." Asif posted some pictures of his son's wedding in a Facebook post on Thursday (October 3).
He wrote, 'The real success of the anti-discrimination student movement will come only through timely marriage of students. I am in favor of marriage at the age of 24-25. It can start a family quickly. They can be parents, we can be grandparents in good times. When will the study be completed, then get established, then get married with money! The beautiful time of youth will pass in between.'
The singer also wrote, 'The gold is now one hundred and thirty five thousand taka. No one can get married at the age of 24-25 at the cost of other social activities. Parents should come forward for marriage of children.'
In the middle of the post, Asif wrote, 'Sad but true, Bagha Bagha leaders of student movement and their colleagues are still bachelors. But I became the father of two sons at that age. They should make a system for youth marriage in the state system. The bank will give the loan and it will be repaid slowly in distant installments without any pressure. I gave a free tip for the winning students in the movement, now is the time.'
He also wrote, 'Meanwhile, the second wedding anniversary of my eldest son Shafqat Asif and Shehreen Ishita has been completed today. Both are studying in Toronto, Canada. But for now there is no good news about becoming a grandfather. I asked my son, he said there is a plan. I said, we didn't have any plan when you were born, but unfortunately we had to hear the story of the plan from you.'
Finally, Asif wrote, 'Whatever happens, I will marry my younger son Shafayat Rudra in the beginning of 2026, insha'Allah, I am anxious to wait. Happy wedding anniversary Rann-Ishita. Live happily, father. Love is endless.'
