Many people think that life will lose its natural rhythm or freedom if you get involved in a relationship! For several such reasons, most of the time boys prefer to be alone. But the reasons for being alone are different for each person.

American professor, psychologist Lisa Firestone said, by conducting a survey on social media and collecting the opinions of more than 20,000 'single' men, the answers are divided into 43 categories. Analyzing these answers, psychologists came up with a total of six factors. These reasons are published in the journal 'Evolutionary Psychological Science'.

6 main reasons behind guys wanting to be single are:

1) Lack of self-confidence is a major obstacle in getting involved with boys. So they want to be alone.

2) Many people say they don't want to worry too much about moving the relationship forward.

3) Many cited their broken relationships as the reason and also said that they could no longer trust women.

4) More than 660 participants in the survey answered - they want to be alone because they are not good looking.

5) Many have said that they have no desire to build a relationship.
