Various upazilas including Chandpur city have been submerged due to rain. Especially Nazir Para, Mission Road Ashram Area, Professor Para, Momin Para, Guakhola, Chitralekha Mor, Palpara, Alim Para, Adalat Para, Rahmatpur Residential Area, Gazi Road, Madrasa Road are under water in the city. Due to the ingress of water into the homes of these areas, extreme suffering has been caused.

Chandpur Meteorological Office High Observer Md. Shoaib said that 250 mm rainfall was recorded in Chandpur district from 9 am on Friday to 6 am on Saturday. Which is the highest rainfall in the country. In between, 27 millimeters of rain fell from 6 am to 9 am on Saturday.
