Jumbangla Desk: Due to bad weather, a helicopter suddenly landed at Kalaikhe in Miapur village of Kshetupra union in Santhia, Pabna. After staying for half an hour, the helicopter left for the destination.

On Friday (October 4) afternoon, the helicopter from Dhaka made an emergency landing on its way to Ataikula in Pabna. The eager crowd of the area thronged there on the news of the helicopter landing.

Dasudev Sarkar, officer in charge of Santhia Fire Station, said that they reached the spot after receiving a call from 999. But before that the helicopter flew to the destination.

Santhia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Saidur Rahman told the media that the helicopter belongs to Akiz Group. They have their factory at Ataikula, 10 km away from the site. En route, the pilot made an emergency landing in inclement weather. There was no damage to the helicopter and passengers.
