Jumbangla Desk : 'Scouter Shaheed Mir Mochad Bhavan' established in the name of Shaheed Mir Mahfuzur Rahman Mochad, the founding member and unit leader of Bir Armed Police Battalion Scout Group, who sacrificed himself in the anti-discrimination student movement, at the Uttara Armed Police Battalion (APBN) headquarters in the capital and dedicated to him in humble respect. After inaugurating the building and arch in the name of Shaheed Mohaddar on Saturday (October 5), the Home Affairs Adviser spoke to the journalists present.

At that time, the advisor said, earlier the police used to file a case as a plaintiff. 10 people were named and 50 people were anonymous. Now the police is not filing a case. The general public is suing.

He also said that if there is a case, it is not an arrest. There will be an investigation first. Legal action will be taken against them only if they are found guilty in the investigation. He said that all those who sacrificed their lives in the anti-discrimination student movement are martyrs. Not only impressed, you should pray for all those who have accepted martyrdom so that they get the status of martyrs.

Apart from that, he said, the government will arrange treatment for the injured and sick in the anti-discrimination student movement. If they have to be sent abroad for better treatment, that will be arranged by the government. Doctors will be brought from abroad to treat them. Injured and sick will be sent abroad for better treatment as per the advice of doctors.

Besides, the Home Affairs Adviser said that most of the criminals among the leaders of the previous government and the top officials of the law and order forces fled between August 5 and 7. And security measures have been strengthened at the border to prevent further escapes. That is why it is very difficult for them to escape now. And now when they want to escape, not only the police and BGB, but the common people are betraying them.

The advisor at this time requested the journalists to cooperate in providing necessary information to the law enforcement agencies through investigative journalism to hand over the criminals.
