Bangladesh lost to England due to batting failure

Sports Desk: The target was 119 runs. But the girls of Bangladesh could not even make that run. The Tigresses lost to England by 21 runs in their second match in the Women's T20 World Cup due to the failure of the batsmen.

England captain Heather Knight won the toss and decided to bat in Sharjah on Saturday (October 5). Coming down to bat, England collected 118 runs after losing 7 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs in the face of Tigress bowlers.
Mia Butcher scored 23 off 18 balls and Danny Watt scored 41 off 40 balls. Nahida Akhtar, Fahima Khatun and Ritu Moni took 2 wickets each for Bangladesh.
Two Tigress openers Sathi Rani and Dilara Akhter gave a glimpse of a good start when they came down to bat with a target of 119 runs. However, Dilara got out with 6 runs from 12 balls in the team's 16 runs.
After that Bangladesh lost 3 more wickets out of 39 runs and came under pressure. Sobhana Mostari continued alone. No one could accompany him.
In the end, Bangladesh managed to collect 97 runs after losing 7 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. Mostari scored 44 runs off 48 balls. Linsey Smith and Charlie Dean took 2 wickets each for England.
