Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) gave this information in a statement on Saturday (October 5).

According to the statement, the firing took place on October 4 and 5 in Spinwam, North Waziristan bordering Afghanistan. Six soldiers, including a lieutenant colonel, and six 'Kharejis' were killed in it.

The terrorist organization Tehreek-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack on Pakistani troops.

The TTP, which emerged in 2007, often targets Pakistani troops. The country's government has banned them.

The Pakistan government alleged that the TTP carried out its activities with the help of Afghanistan. However, the Taliban-controlled Afghan government has always denied the allegations.
