Yesterday Friday, supporters of Imran Khan's party PTI gathered in different places of Islamabad. Although Section 144 was enacted there. But breaking it they gathered. Their aim was to protest at D-Chok. But it was blocked by the police. At that time, there was a massive clash between the police and the PTI supporters who were gathering for the protest.


On the other hand, Imran's supporters are scheduled to gather at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore today. Fearing that their gathering would worsen the law and order situation in Lahore, the Punjab administration sought the help of the army. Troops are deployed at airports and other critical infrastructure, The Dawn reported.

Imprisoned former Prime Minister Imran Khan took to social media to urge his activist supporters to make the rally in Lahore a success. He said that if they cannot reach Lahore due to police obstruction, then everyone should stay in their respective cities.
