Now it is a matter of seeing which one is more and which one is less. The main reason for this is that whoever has left his responsibility has taken other benefits.
Another thing is that even after so many changes, there seems to be a fear and lack of confidence.
He said these things at the public hearing of the white paper preparation committee on the current economic situation of Bangladesh at an elite restaurant in the city on Saturday (October 5) afternoon.

People from different classes and professions participated in it. At this time, the speakers discussed various issues including the suffering of civic services, implementation of projects without public involvement, bribery in getting civic services, self-identity of residents and their civil rights, impact of tourism, employment of students and increase in efficiency.


Dr. said that the country is in a new situation. Debapriya Bhattacharya said, the thought of change, the thought of reform of those who sacrificed themselves is this - we do not see it as an alternative to replace one tyrant with another tyrant. You have said that every organ of the state is somehow connected with corruption. Those who are supposed to make laws have become involved in corruption. Those whom the law is supposed to protect have become involved in corruption. Those who are supposed to enforce the law are involved in corruption.

Among the members of the white paper preparation committee are Professor AK Enamul Haque, Dean of East West University Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Business Initiative Leading Development (BILD) CEO Ferdous R. Begum, Executive Director of BRAC Institute of Governance and Development. Imran Matin, Research Director of Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS). Kazi Iqbal, Dhaka University Development Studies Department Professor Dr. Mohammad Abu Yusuf, CPD Honorary Fellow Professor Mostafizur Rahman, Dhaka University Economics Department Professor Dr. Salim Raihan and Jahangirnagar University Economics Department Professor Sharmind Nilormi were present.
