Jumbangla Desk: After the long deadlock after the fall of the autocratic government, the Chittagong University (CHB) class-examination is starting on Sunday.

Besides, the inaugural class of the fresh students admitted to the graduation class in the academic year 2023-24 is starting from today.

Earlier, in early July, teachers-employees went on strike in response to the agitation to cancel the teachers' certification scheme. As a result, there is a virtual deadlock in the classrooms. After that, students were forced to leave the hall by announcing the closure of Chabi in the tense situation of the July coup.

As a result, students are returning to class after more than 3 months. They are excited about it.

Tahsan Habib, a student of the history department , said he was happy to return to class after a long time. Hopefully the authorities will take effective steps to compensate for the loss of this time.

Meanwhile, after about 7 years, the authorities have allocated seats in the residential hall. Many inconsistencies have appeared in it, many have complained. However, various circles are looking at the matter positively. They say that the culture of not allotting seats has broken for a long time, now it is necessary to correct the mistakes by keeping the regular allotment going on.

University Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Kamal Uddin said that there was no seat allocation policy before August 5. The then administration formulated a policy after August 5; We are following it. Allotment has been made in this flawed policy for speedy opening of universities. It will be revised and allocated again in the future.
