Jumbangla Desk: Bangladesh Association of Contact Centers and Outsourcing (BAKCO), an organization of BPO and call center businessmen of the country, wants to provide employment opportunities to those injured in the student uprising to build a prosperous and non-discriminatory Bangladesh based on information technology.

An exchange meeting was held between 'Julai Shaheed Smriti Foundation' and Bakko on Saturday (October 5).


In the meeting, on behalf of the newly formed Bakko Executive Committee, all-out cooperation was assured to arrange employment for the family members killed and injured in the popular uprising in July-August.

BAKCO President Tanveer Ibrahim said, BAKCO wants to stand by those who were injured in the movement. We want to work to create employment opportunities according to qualifications by increasing their skills so that those injured in the mass uprising can fully recover and return to normal life.


Bakro General Secretary Faisal Alim said that those who were martyred, injured, crippled and lost their sight in the mass uprising are the best children of the country. We will not let this sacrifice to build a new Bangladesh go in vain. The Bakko family will always be by their side .


In the meeting, General Secretary of 'Julai Shaheed Smriti Foundation' Mir Mahbubur Rahman (soft) said, I have been involved with outsourcing since the beginning of my professional life. The IT sector has immense potential to create employment opportunities for the youth, which will play an important role in the economic development of the country.


Bakko Director Abdul Quader, Zayed Uddin Ahmed, Saima Shawkat, Executive Director Lieut. Colonel (Retired) Md. Mahtabul Haque and senior officials of the two institutions.
