Jumbangla Desk: The Meteorological Department has said that gusty wind with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour or rain with thunder may occur over 13 regions of the country in the afternoon.

This information was given in the weather forecast for the river ports of the country till 1 pm on Sunday (October 6).

According to the notification, temporary gust with a speed of 45 to 60 km per hour from south or south-west over Pabna, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong, Kakrabazar and Sylhet areas with rain or thundershower. Or a gust of wind may blow. The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

Another notice said that in most places of Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours from 6 pm on Saturday; Many places of Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chittagong divisions and some places of Rangpur, Khulna and Barisal divisions may experience rain with thunder. Along with this, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions may experience heavy rainfall. Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country during this time.
