Jumbangla Desk: 28 students have been expelled for being involved in various crimes in Mymensingh Medical College campus and hostel. This decision was taken at the academic council meeting held in the college auditorium yesterday Saturday (October 5) at noon. They have been accused of extortion, drug abuse, terrorist activities and torture of anti-racist student agitators on campus.

Among the expelled students, the former president of the college branch of the Chhatra League. Anupam Saha and former general secretary Dr. There are leaders and activists including Abdullah Al Hasan.

College Principal Professor Dr. Md. Professor Dr. Nazmul Alam Khan chaired the academic council meeting. President and Dr. Jimma Hossain. Md. A seven-member investigation committee has been formed with Badar Uddin as member secretary.
The committee has been asked to submit its report within the next five working days. 28 students were expelled from the campus and hostel pending the report .
