In the name of maltreatment of newborn babies, allegations of money trading and harassment have been made against pediatrician Dr. Nashir Hossain. A victim named Palash complained against him to the Manikganj District Commissioner.

It is known that the one and a half year old son of Sarup Ali of Ukuria village of Manikganj Sadar Upazila is now becoming disabled due to the wrong treatment of doctor Nashir Hossain.

The victim, Sarup Ali, said, "When my one-and-a-half-year-old son developed cold and fever, I took him to doctor Nashir Hossain." He asked me to admit my son to his private Manikganj Children's Hospital. I keep the child admitted in that hospital for 4 days. Unfortunately due to Dr. Nasir's wrong treatment my son is now disabled. I had to pay a bill of 45 thousand taka in 4 days. But my child did not do well.

Doctor Nashir Hossain said, I have been seeing patients in Manikganj for 14 years. I am no longer a terrorist Mastan who will forcibly admit patients. Some drugs have side effects. If you tell me, I change the medicine. We do not give treatment that will make someone disabled.

Manikganj District Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Mokchedul Momin said, I am not aware of this matter. If he has any disability or harassment due to his treatment then legal action will be taken after investigation.
