For non-payment of money, the husband recorded a video of the physical relationship of eight months of married life and spread it on social media. The wife filed a case against her husband under the Pornography Act.

A 29-year-old woman living in Gopalpur area of Tongi filed the case at Tongi East Police Station on Saturday (October 5). Plaintiff and defendant are residents of Sundarganj Thana area of Gaibandha district. They live on rent in Gopalpur area of Tongir.
According to the statement of the case, one Al Amin Islam (30) got married to the plaintiff eight months ago. Accused Al Amin secretly videotaped physical intercourse between husband and wife without the wife's knowledge. Recently, the accused demanded money from the plaintiff and threatened to spread the video of sexual intercourse on social media if he did not get the money. The secret video of the legal intercourse with the plaintiff after not paying the husband was posted on a Facebook ID on October 3 and circulated. For the same purpose the accused insulted the plaintiff by sending videos on WhatsApp messenger of the plaintiff and his relatives.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Tongi East police station SM Mamunur told Rashid Jugantar that a case has been registered in this incident. Efforts are underway to arrest the accused.
