Meanwhile, to attract the attention of the visitors coming to the temple for worship, various materials are being used for decoration. Theme-based decoration work is now going on in various temples. The mood of the festival is blowing all over the country. In the evening, the pujamandap will be filled with devotional chants with the smoke of incense, drums, uludbhani and kansar-mandira.


Durgotsava will begin on October 9 with Mahashasthi Puja. The five-day long festival will then conclude with visarjan on Mahasaptami, Mahaashtami, Mahanavami and Dasami (October 13). This year, Goddess Durga will arrive in the world on a swing and she will go back to heaven on a horse. Officially, Durga Puja will be celebrated in 32,666 Mandapams across the country this year.


On the surface, it has been seen in different temples of the capital, as usual preparations for worship are going on in various temples across the country including Dhakeshwari National Temple, Ramana Kali Temple, Ramakrishna Mission, Lalbagh Rishipara Temple, Rajarbagh Kali Mandir, Shankhari Bazar Temple, Siddheshwari Kali Temple. From early morning till late night, the idol artists are busy painting and painting the ineffably beautiful form of Goddess Durga. Artists do not have time to suffocate. Goddess Durga, Shiva, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Kartika, Ganesha, Asuras and other idols will get artificial life with the touch of their perfect hands.


Apart from this, some idols are wearing sarees, bracelets and other jewellery. Apart from this, people related to the puja are also busy with various works including lighting decoration, pandal making, mandap and its surroundings. Since then, every year in the autumn, people of Sanatan religion have been celebrating Durgotsava. This year's Sharad Utsav ceremony started from Mahalaya on October 2. This Mahalaya marks the end of Pitra Paksha and the beginning of Goddess Paksha.


According to Hindu scriptures, Goddess Durga is invited to Martyah (earth) on Mahalaya Tithi. On this day in the morning Goddess Durga was invited to the mortal world through Chandipath. And with this, the Durga Puja ceremony begins.

In the meantime, the district administrations have held preparatory meetings keeping the Puja in front. The government has completed its preparations for the security of the puja mandap, maintaining law and order and various other relevant issues. The advisors and officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Religion have already held a meeting regarding the preparation of the puja. Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Parishad, Bangladesh Pooja Celebration Parishad, Dhaka Metropolitan Public Worship Committee and other stakeholders also participated in it.


Harichand Chakraborty, priest of Ramana Kali temple, said that Mahasashthi Kalpanarambha should be completed by 8:44 am on October 9. Abode and invocation of the goddess at bedtime. President of Bangladesh Puja Celebration Parishad Vasudev Dhar said that the preparations for the puja are almost complete now. Extensive preparations are being made for the puja at the central and peripheral levels throughout the country. We have already given instructions across the country to worship with religious solemnity. To involve people from all walks of life in worship. We have already held a meeting with the government. IGP and administration officials were present there along with the Home Advisor. They assured us that no untoward incident would happen around the puja.
