Own Correspondent, Gazipur: The police recovered the body of an unidentified youth (25) from the side of the road in Sreepur, Gazipur. The body was recovered from the side of Gazipur-Itakhola regional road in Nimuria village of Prahladpur union of the upazila on Sunday (06 October) afternoon .

The matter was confirmed by the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sreepur Police Station. Zainal Abedin Mandal. The identity of the youth was not immediately available.

The OC said the body was recovered from the spot. Identification is in progress. Further legal action is pending. Police are working to determine the cause of death.

It is known that in the morning, the locals saw the body of an unidentified young man lying on the side of the road. On receiving information, the police recovered the body. However, the body could not be identified.
