Mahmudur Rahman, acting editor of Amar Desh Patrika, has demanded seven points including banning Chhatra League as a terrorist organization within seven days.

Today, Sunday (October 6) at noon, he exchanged views with journalists at the National Press Club. He raised these demands in his first meeting with journalists after returning to the country.

Highlighting the seven-point demand, Mahmudur Rahman said that Chhatra League should be declared a banned and illegal organization as a terrorist organization without delay. Bangladesh Chhatra League alone is responsible for all the terrorist activities or incidents that have happened in Bangladesh in the last 16 years. Thousands of boys and girls were killed all over Bangladesh in the student revolution. Giving an ultimatum to the interim government, the Chhatra League should be banned as a terrorist organization within seven days. Otherwise, I will take the journalist society to protest on the streets.

He said, as a senior citizen, as an anti-fascist activist, I have fixed seven-point demands, which I am raising to this government.

The number one demand is that a four-member committee should be formed immediately to treat the injured in the student revolution.

Secondly, Chhatra League should be banned.

Thirdly, Yamuna Bridge should be declared as Shaheed Abu Saeed Bridge.

Fourthly, every article and sub-section of the agreements signed with India since 2009 must be made public. People should know what agreements have been made with India. A committee should be formed to review them. There will be patriots in that committee. But there is TIB Iftekharuzzaman or Dr. No person like Devapriya Bhattacharya, who is fascism, will not be an Indian agent.

Fifthly, the name of Bangabandhu Avenue should be changed to Shaheed Abrar Avenue. The student revolution started with the martyrdom of Shaheed Abrar. Shaheed Abrar was against Indian hegemony. That is why the name of Bangabandhu Avenue should be changed to Syed Abrar Avenue.

Referring to Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as the leader of the first dictators in independent Bangladesh, Mahmudur Rahman said that Sheikh Mujibur Rahman is the idol of fascist Sheikh Hasina's fascism. Fascism North Bangladesh cannot have any establishment named after an idol of fascism, clearly. We see Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as a fascist because if anyone is responsible for this it is Sheikh Hasina. Because for 16 years he established Sheikh Mujib as the idol of fascism everywhere.

Sixth, the nomination of Sheikh Hasina's daughter Saima Wazed Putul from the World Health Organization should be withdrawn immediately. As the reason, he said, the nomination of this Saheba Puthul was done through fraud. Whether or not the World Health Organization cancels Putul's nomination is up to them. But the post-revolutionary government should withdraw the puppet's name and send a message to the organization.

Seventhly, former army officer Brigadier General (retd) Rahim, a student of BUET, was killed due to negligence. I learned this while in prison. He was imprisoned in the 10 truck weapons case. Although he is said to have died of a heart attack. But, I learned that when he was taken to the ICU after a heart attack, the electricity line was switched off for two to three hours. At that time he collapsed and died. Another is BNP leader Nasir Uddin Pintu, who is known to have been killed in prison. A judicial inquiry committee headed by an Appellate Division judge is to be constituted to investigate the cause of death of the two. The responsibility of the committee will be to review all the documentary evidence and find out the cause of death of these two.
