Local Government Ministry Secretary Abu Hena Morshed Zaman has been relieved of his duties and made the Public Administration Ministry Officer on Special Duty (OSD).

The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notification on Sunday with instructions to implement this order immediately.

Abu Hena Morshed Zaman joined the local government department as secretary on June 19.

On the other hand, Rezaul Maqchud Zahedi, additional secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and Farzana Mumtaz, additional secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, have been promoted to secretaries.

Among these, Zahedi has been made the secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. And Mumtaz has been given the responsibility of Secretary of Electricity Department.

Besides, Public Administration Ministry's Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Suraiya Akhtar Jahan has been made the Chairman of Bangladesh Fisheries Development Corporation.

On the same day, the government assigned Officer on Special Duty (OSD) Ministry of Public Administration Additional Secretary Saidur Rahman Khan as Additional Secretary of Cabinet Division and Additional Secretary of Ministry of Public Administration Al Amin Sarkar as Additional Secretary of Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division.
