Jumbangla Desk: A Tulkalam case was created while arresting the accused Belal Hossain (38) in the rape case of Mirzaganj of Patuakhali.

Belal Hossain, the accused in the rape case, was working on the banks of the canal full of liquor.

He suddenly felt the presence of the police and jumped into the water of the canal. Immediately the police also jumped into the water. After about three hours of trying, the police managed to arrest Belal from drinking.

Officer-in-charge (OC) of Mirzaganj police station confirmed the matter on Sunday (October 6) afternoon. Shamim Ahmed.

Earlier this incident happened in a village of Mirzaganj upazila of Patuakhali on Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, hundreds of people gathered on both sides of the canal to watch the incident.

According to the police and locals, the arrested Belal is the accused in a rape case filed at Mirzaganj police station. Last July, a woman filed a rape case in the name of Belal and Bashir Uddin. The accused have been absconding ever since the case was registered. On Saturday afternoon, accused Belal was working on the banks of a canal in his village. After receiving this news, Deputy Inspector (SI) of Mirzaganj police station to arrest him. Under the leadership of Enamul Haque, the expedition was carried out with the accompanying force.

Sensing the presence of the police, Belal jumped into the water of the canal and hid in the garbage. Later, the policemen also jumped into the canal to catch him. After a lot of searching, the police arrested him from Kachuripana after trying for about three hours.

SI Md. Enamul Haque said that the accused Belal recognized us from a distance and jumped into the canal and hid in the garbage. He is a very clever person. It took about three hours to catch him from the wreckage.
