Jumbangla Desk: An allegation has been made against the husband and in-laws of a housewife in Pirojpur. The victim's father Kalidas Biswas filed a complaint at Sadar police station of the district on Sunday (October 6). The name of the deceased housewife is Nupur Rani (35).

It is known that Nupur Rani, daughter of Kalidas Biswas of Chikti Bari village of Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj, got married to Haridas Kunda, son of Manti Kunda of Shikarpur, Ward No. 4 of Sadar Upazila of Pirojpur. They had a daughter 13 days ago. Joy called on the mobile phone from her daughter's in-laws on Sunday morning to inform about Nupur's illness. Later, when Nupur was taken to the district hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead. Nupur's father claimed that his daughter was killed in a premeditated manner.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Pirojpur Sadar Police Station. Sobhan Hossain said that the police were sent there after receiving the information. No injury marks were found anywhere on the body. However, in view of the complaint of the father of the deceased housewife, the body was recovered and sent to the morgue of the district hospital for post-mortem. Necessary legal action will be taken after looking at the morgue report.
