Most of the people who live here were living here because of several river erosions. Many of them had hundreds of bighas of cultivated land in the field, cows in herds and rice fields full of rice. Now they are all memories.

A woman named Morjina Akhtar who lives in this area said that she may not be able to stay in her husband's house. This cooking may be the last cooking. I can't finish cooking this. Because when the river starts to erode, you will have to run away. I don't sleep all night, I stay awake, when will this settlement go to the river.

With tears in her eyes, the woman said, "There are two children in the house, the last possessions of her husband are also going under the river." Now where we will go, what we will eat, only the one above knows.

Salam Sardar of the same area said that everything is on the way to loss. i'm done If this house goes to the river, there is nowhere to stand with the boys and girls. Do not sleep all night. Where to go, how to go.

In one night, ten kathas of crop land of a man named Suruj Fakir disappeared in the chest of Padma. He is disoriented, maybe overnight some more of his lands will be lost to Padma. He said, plead to the higher authorities of the government to take action. Otherwise we will be destitute.

Hafizul Islam, chairman of Debagram Union Parishad, said that a report has already been requested from the upazila in this regard. I will submit it tomorrow morning. River erosion has been going on for a long time. Devagram Union will completely disappear from the map if the long term project is not taken up.
