Earlier on October 1, there was a trailer release ceremony of 'Bahurupi'. On the same day, Ratabhari's boyfriend's birthday happened. The actress had already planned to celebrate.

However, the trailer release event got in the way of that plan. The two makers of the film, Shivprasad Mukherjee-Nandita Roy, chose to release the trailer on October 1.

And Ritabhari appeared at the event and said to everyone, 'The date was being given for the promotion of the film. I then told my manager, no matter what, don't set a date for October 1, I won't be able to do any promotions on that day. Because I have to go to Mumbai for my boyfriend's birthday. All the plans were ready. Then I came to know that everyone got a date for the trailer launch on that one day.'

After that, Ritabhari looked at director and actor Shivprasad Mukhopadhyay who was present there and said, 'This time the trailer will be launched, I will not be there, there is no point in discussing this. Because, the commitment to my Shibuda or Bahurupi….Believe me, I love my boyfriend a lot, maybe even more than you. So it is important to me, and will remain important.'

The actress said, 'Today I have been able to reach the place in people's homes, in their hearts, sometimes as Shabri, sometimes as Phullara and now hopefully as Pari too. There are many shades in the life of a fairy, you can understand that by looking at the picture. And you will see how much I have made my husband's life hell.'

Abir Chattopadhyay (Ritabhari's screen husband) was smiling while Ritabhari was saying this. Showing him, Ritabhari said, 'He gives this kind of expression, but maybe this is what he wanted to give in the film.'

Thanking director Nandita Roy, Ritabhari said, 'I want to do a special thank you mention for Nandita. Because these characters are created by Nandita. Every character, be it Pari or Jhimli or Sumant or Vikram, you can relate to every character. And you can love them all together.'

Tama Mirza called him a cheater

Finally, the actress said, 'You have seen some of my madness in the trailer, watch the rest.'
