Jumbangla Desk: Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said that children are the shaper of a prosperous Bangladesh. It is the responsibility of all of us to give importance to the beautiful development of children to build Bangladesh anew.

He said this in a message given on the occasion of 'World Children's Day' on Monday (October 7).

Dr. Yunus said that the interim government formed through the mass uprising of the students-workers-people is determined to identify and solve the problems of child deprivation, child labor, malnutrition and child marriage which hinder the proper development of children.

He said that there is no substitute for proper environment, education, safety, nutrition and healthy entertainment in the physical, mental and cultural development of children. If the children grow up with the spirit of love, compassion and free thinking, they will be able to play a positive role in the formation of Bangladesh in the future.

The chief adviser said that today's children will become artists, writers, philosophers, economists, scientists, doctors and engineers in various professions.

He said, I hope that the program undertaken to celebrate 'World Children's Day 2024' will play a role in the overall development of children. May all the children of the world, including Bangladesh, grow up in safe and loving care - this is my hope today.
