This time, on the eve of the first anniversary of the beginning of the Gaza war, the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah attacked Haifa, Israel's third largest city, on Monday morning. This news was reported by the news agency Reuters.

According to the report, Hezbollah's rockets hit the cities of Haifa and Tiberias, ignoring the Israeli air defense system. 10 people were injured.

Hezbollah claimed that they attacked a military base south of Haifa using 'Fadi 1' missiles. Two rockets hit Haifa on the Mediterranean coast, while five others hit the Israeli city of Tiberias.

According to the local police, several buildings were damaged in Haifa by Hezbollah rockets on Sunday. Some minor injuries were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Al Jazeera journalist Noor Odeh said that this is the first time Haifa residents have seen a Hezbollah rocket attack inside the city.

He also said that Haifa is the largest city in northern Israel with about 300,000 inhabitants. This city is strategically important. It has a port, oil refinery and industrial complex. It would be the target of Hezbollah attacks that the Israelis did not anticipate. This attack could affect Israel.
