7 workers killed in West Bengal's Birbhum coal mine explosion

Vaduliya Coal Mine

According to the report, the explosion happened in the Gangaramchak coal mine of Vaduliya village of Birbhum on Monday morning local time. It is also known that some people are trapped inside the mine.

According to eyewitnesses, the bodies of the workers killed in the blast were dismembered. It was alleged that the mining officials fled the area after the incident.

 


There is a lot of tension in the area right now. Police have been deployed to control the situation. Also, the injured have been rescued and taken to hospital. Besides, work is going on to rescue the trapped people.
