International Desk: A Hindu priest named Yati Narasimhananda has been arrested in India for insulting Islam and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Detained Narisanghananda is the head priest of the Dashna Devi temple in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The controversial person spoke rudely about the Holy Prophet in an event last Thursday. After that, the police of Sihani Gate police station filed an FIR against him.
In a report on Saturday (October 6), Indian Express reported that Narasimhananda was arrested by the police. Although they have not officially announced this. However, a police official confirmed that they have taken the controversial priest into their custody.
BJP MLA Nanda Kishore Gurja, the ruling Hindutva party at the Centre, alleged that the temple of the controversial priest was attacked last Friday. And those who attacked the temple should be shot dead.
However, the police found no evidence of an attack on the temple, The Indian Express reported.
Recently various Indian priests and politicians have made bad comments about Islam and the Holy Prophet. Because of this, thousands of Muslims headed towards Mumbai to demand justice a few days ago. Among these, this priest from Uttar Pradesh has been arrested.
