According to the Nobel Prize website, the Nobel Prize in Medicine will be announced on Monday (October 7). On October 8, Physics, October 9, Chemistry, October 10, Literature, October 11, the most attractive prize, the name of the Nobel Peace Prize will be announced. In addition, the Nobel Prize announcement will officially end on October 14 with the announcement of the winner in economics.

A shortlist of 300 people is made every year for the Nobel Prize. After the scrutiny, the award is given to one or more individuals and institutions in different categories.

According to a will made by the Swedish scientist Alfred Nobel in 1895, the Nobel Prize was introduced. The first prize was awarded in 1901. At that time, various individuals and institutions around the world were awarded for successful, unique research, innovation and humanitarian activities in five categories.

The subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Medicine, Literature and Peace. Later one more category was added to this list. Since 1969, the Nobel Prize in Economics has been awarded.
