The Meteorological Office has given such a forecast on Monday (07 October).

Meteorologist Md. According to Shahinul Islam, the extension of the axis of monsoon is extending through Bihar, West Bengal and the central part of Bangladesh to Assam. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay of Bengal.

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers with gusty winds may occur at many places in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions till Tuesday (October 08) morning. Along with this, there may be moderate heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may rise slightly across the country.

Light to moderate rain/thundershowers with gusty winds may occur at many places in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal, Dhaka and Chittagong divisions from Tuesday morning to Wednesday (October 09) morning. Along with this, there may be moderate heavy rainfall in some parts of the country.

Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.

From Wednesday morning to Thursday (October 10) many places of Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and some places of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions may experience light to moderate rain/thunder with gusty winds temporarily. Along with this, there may be moderate heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
