Google unveiled the features at its annual I/O conference earlier this year. Technology website NineTwoFiveGoogle said that Google will use 'Play Service' to get features to users quickly.

Earlier, Android expert Mishal Rahman claimed that Google has launched anti-theft features experimentally in Brazil since June. Later these features were introduced in some Android devices like Pixel.

But according to several new reports, the theft detection feature will be rolled out to more Android users.

Theft Detection Lock
This feature works by using device sensors, WiFi and smart device connectivity. The feature will lock the phone if someone suddenly takes away the phone while the phone is in use and unlocked.

Many thieves turn off the phone's internet to stop offline device lock location tracking. In these cases, Google's new 'Offline Device Lock' feature will be activated.

Remote Lock
You can try to recover your stolen phone using the Remote Lock feature. After the phone is stolen you need to go to this website and enter the phone number and security challenge (passcode, security question, fingerprint, phone number).

The feature is faster and easier than logging into Find My Device. The feature will allow users to lock their devices remotely.

This process will allow you to take early warning before the phone shuts down and continue trying to recover the phone.

The features were seen in the beta version of Google Play Services (24.40.33). However, technology analysts expect the features to be launched on all Android devices soon.

You will get powerful engines in these 3 brands of motorbikes

To activate the features, search for 'theft protection' from Android settings. Or select the All Services tab from the Google Services page. Then the features can be seen in Personal and Device Safety. But only these options will be visible when the features come to your device.
