Own Correspondent, Gazipur: The workers of Unilever Bangladesh Limited have formed a human chain in Gazipur to demand six points. They made a human chain in front of Gazipur Press Club at 11 o'clock on Monday (October 7) .

The demands of the workers are to be given the opportunity to work directly as representatives of the Unilever company; Company regulations should be reformed to operate according to non-discrimination principles; Salaries and bonuses should be increased; Job security and assurance policies must be made; All national holidays including weekends should be given and Unilever Bangladesh Limited marketing workers union should be established.

Harun Or Rashid, a junior sales officer working in Gazipur, said that if our demands are not met, then we will observe a nationwide strike at the same time. I will be forced to stop the supply-distribution system of daily commodities.
