In front of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court (CMM), the crowd threw eggs at Hasina government's former forest and environment minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury, former NBR chairman Najibur Rahman and former security department senior secretary Aminul Islam.

The incident occurred during and after the remand hearing of the BNP activist Maqbul murder case in front of and inside the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on Monday (October 7).

It can be seen from the surface that the trial of BNP worker Maqbul murder case is going on in the court. Suddenly the power goes out. At this time, some eggs were thrown at the custody of the accused by the lawyers of BNP. After the trial, the accused were taken to the jail through the police barricade.

At that time, as soon as the accused reached the road leading to the jail from the court gate, the BNP leaders and activists who had taken a position in advance started throwing eggs at them. Eggs were also thrown from the second floor and balcony of the court.
