Jumbangla Desk: The final date of the HSC exam result of this year has been announced. The result of this year's HSC exam will be published on October 15 at 11 am.

President of Inter Education Board Coordinating Committee and Chairman of Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar gave this information to Kaler Kantha on Monday (October 7) afternoon.

According to sources in the Ministry of Education, the result will not be handed over to the head of government like in the past.

Self Education Board will release the result on October 15 at 11 am. But no formalities will be done as before. Students can know the result through SMS as before. Apart from this, the result will be published on the website of the education board.

This year's HSC exam started on June 30. The examination was successfully completed till July 16. However, in view of the agitation, first the examination on July 18 and then the examination on July 21, 23 and 25 were postponed. In the meantime, the Sheikh Hasina government was ousted on August 5 in the face of a mass coup at a stage of the anti-discrimination student movement.

In this situation, the dates of remaining exams are changed several times. The latest new date is set for August 11. However, the candidates started a movement demanding cancellation of the postponed exams. In a meeting at the secretariat on August 20, it was decided to hold the exam on a short scale from September 11, but the students started a riot by blocking several officials including the senior secretary of the Ministry of Education. Later the education administration was forced to cancel these exams.
