However, Jatiya Party (Japa) has not yet been invited to this dialogue. Multiple government sources said objections to the party came from the student leadership of the July-August coup.
Meanwhile, Hasanat Abdullah, one of the coordinators of the anti-discrimination student movement, posted a post on social media Facebook on Monday night saying that if the Jatiya Party is invited to the dialogue, there will be strong protest and strong opposition.
Hasanat Abdullah wrote in his post, "If Jatiya Party, a friend of dictatorship, is invited to dialogue, we will strongly protest and strongly oppose that suicidal decision."

Allegation behind this objection is that Japa was an ally of the ousted Awami League. In such a context, the issue of Zapa's invitation to the dialogue has become uncertain. According to government sources, the interim government has not yet taken a final decision on whether to invite Japan for dialogue or not.
It is known that after Durga Puja, the chief adviser will hold a dialogue with the rest of the parties on October 19.
LDP led by Oli Ahmed, 12-party alliance in simultaneous movement with BNP, Bangladesh Jatiya Party led by Andalib Rahman Parthar will be invited for the dialogue on that day. One or two other smaller teams may get invited. However, the ousted Awami League and the 14-party alliance will not be called for dialogue. Even the interim government will not negotiate with any party known as allies or friends of Awami League.
Several sources said that this is the policy position of the government.
It is known that Jatiya Party was known as an ally or collaborator during Sheikh Hasina's 15-and-a-half-year rule. The leaders of the party have sometimes become partners in the government with ministries. Sometimes sitting in the seat of the opposition party in the parliament, Japa got the title of 'housekeeper'. The party sat in the seat of the opposition party in the 12th parliament after taking part in the last January 7 election.
After the fall of the dictatorship in the mass coup, new questions are being raised about the past of the Jatiya Party. Now that past of the Jatiya Party is standing in the way of getting invited to the chief adviser's dialogue.
It is known that several political parties have requested the chief adviser not to invite Japan to the dialogue.
