The victim college student and his family held a press conference at Ashulia Press Club at 12 noon on Monday (October 7).

The accused torturers are Md. Khairul Islam Shanto (32), son of Md. Chamad Madbar of Kashimpur Union, Ward No. 5, Shaildubi village, Gazipur.

In the press conference, victimized college student Eamon Mia said that he was studying in the first year of Ghazirachat School and College in Ashulia. He threatens to see Eamon.


Following this, on April 30, Nadeem (20) and Mustafa (22) called Eman and asked him to go out for a walk. According to them, he went out of the house with a motorcycle. At one point of their wanderings, they reached the road on the north side of Shaildubi hair factory under Kashimpur police station in the evening. At that time, the accused Shant, who was already present there, targeted Eamon's left ankle joint with the laser cutter he had with him, and cut the lower part of his left ankle and severed it from his leg.

At the press conference, the father of the victim Eamon demanded strict punishment for the brutal attack on his son, bringing the culprits to justice.

At that time, he said, after the incident, when I wanted to come for the help of the thana police for trial, the accused forbade me to go to the thana police regarding the incident. They know and threaten to kill me if I protest against them. The accused can do great harm to me and my family at any time.

However, as no one of the accused could be contacted, their statement was not available.

As it was not possible to contact the OC of Kashimpur police station in this regard, later the duty officer was asked about the entry of the case in the written complaint of the plaintiff Md. Ataur. He asked to come to the police station to inquire about the matter.
