Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury

He said this in response to questions from journalists after visiting and exchanging views at the Agricultural Research Institute of Gazipur on Tuesday (October 8) morning.

Regarding security during Durga Puja, he said, this year's puja will be very good. There will be no problem. Every time there are police and Ansar members, this time there will be RAB, BGB and army.

Regarding the misinformation about Puja through social media, he said, it is your responsibility to look into it. There is no problem in my area, write where you have problems in Gazipur. Only then will everyone understand the situation. Mob culture was there before, now we need to increase public awareness along with law enforcement to prevent it.

Dr. Agriculture Secretary was also present at this time. Md. Emdad Ullah Mia, Bari DG Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Akand, Deputy Commissioner Nafisa Arifin, Superintendent of Police Abul Kalam Azad.
