Jumbangla Desk: Chief Advisor Dr. Nasreen Jahan, mother of Executive Magistrate Taapsee Tabassum Urmi, who was suspended for posting a controversial post on Facebook about Muhammad Yunus, said, 'My daughter did not get a job on quota or any recommendation. He studied a lot. This job is the result of his hard work.'

However, he said, my daughter is violating the employment rules by posting about the head of government on Facebook. He didn't like it. It is a big crime. Employment rules must be obeyed everywhere.

Taapsee Tabassum Urmi's mother Nasreen Jahan told a national daily on Monday (October 7) night.

Nasreen Jahan said, my husband has worked in government. He was 14th BCS. I also do government job. Employment rules must be obeyed everywhere. My children are not involved in any politics. We live normal lives. Both of us (husband and wife) are teachers. I don't like politics. I just told the children, you should study and become established.

He said, we have not fought, we have not seen war. The war that happened is history. But there is no denying history. Can we deny our parents?

About politics in Urmi's student life, he said, Urmi was not involved in any political organization during her student life. However, in 2018, Kota was involved in the movement. It was his 40th BCS exam then. He studied Computer Science from Shahjalal Science and Applied University. He did his Masters from there. My children are not involved in any politics. We live a very simple life.

Urmi is a resident of Nasibpur village in Purbadhala Sadar Union of Purbadhala Upazila of Netrakona. Azim Uddin, a local UP member of that area, said that Urmi was talented from childhood. He got admission in Shahjalal University of Science and Technology with good result in secondary examination. After completing his studies from there, he joined the government service in 2022. Urmi is the eldest among two sisters and a brother. The younger brother is studying in a university in Germany.

After investigation, it is known that Taapsee Tabassum Urmi's father Md. Ismail Hossain was the former Vice-Principal of Shaheed Smriti Government College, Muktagacha, Mymensingh. He has also taught in various government colleges including the traditional Anand Mohan College in Mymensingh city. But currently he is living a retired life. Her mother Nasreen Jahan is currently working as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Haji Kashem Ali Women's Degree College, Muktagacha.
