On the occasion of Durga Puja, Anandabazar Online's special section 'Star Puja' has started. Your familiar faces share memories and plans for the celebration. Now Tollywood actress Nusrat Jahan wrote about Pooja.

The actress wrote - Since childhood, Durga Puja has a sense of joy associated with it. Puja means holiday. Puja is a time for us to dress up along with the city. More than that - Puja means suppression of evil and observance of virtue. Because mother is coming.

He said, a different kind of love is created in the heart when you hear the worship coming. Pooja is a different feeling for Bengalis spread across West Bengal as well as in different corners of the world. Waiting all year. But when the puja comes, the days go by like a storm. After that I was very upset.

The actress said, I have many memories with Pooja. I remember—when we were kids, we were given a little less vacation in the convent school. But I tried to enjoy it as much as possible. My aunt's house is in Behala. So the memory of seeing Tagore together with my siblings is still fresh in my mind. Back then, if I got a chance, I used to visit Tagore by bike, sometimes by bus. At that time, whether the feet were getting cut in the new shoes or getting hungry - these did not come to mind. If watching Tagore all night one day made the body sick, the next day rested. After that he went out to see Tagore again. I miss those days very much. But there was a fixed day in the puja. That day father used to take us to see Tagore. I have been very stubborn since childhood. I remember - once Baba said, I should see Tagore till I get tired. Can not return home!

Nusrat said, with age, the days of worship have also changed. Now I have to go to many pujas as a guest. Tagore is also seen. Still try to avoid the crowd and see Tagore. Bengali belly worship is also associated with the worship. Fast food stalls on both sides of the road attract me very much during puja. He said, it is not without telling an experience of last year in this context. I went out to see Yash Tagore. Asking Yash to drive the car slowly in the crowd, I jumped down. Next destination is Ghugni shop. Yash didn't even understand. A crowd of people saw me. I also took pictures with everyone. But I still have a plate of Ghugni!

He also said that both I and Yash were very busy before the puja. But despite that, I told him to take time out with me. Must shop for mom, dad and kids. Every year Puja shopping gets busy at the last minute. Ishan is now three and a half years old. A lot has grown up. Last year I went out with him to see Tagore. He likes to see the mandap lighting very much. Last year it danced a little to the tune of Dhaka. I see, now even Pooja tries to understand the matter a little. 'Dugga is coming' - the group is also talking a little bit. Let's see what to do now. There will be plans to spend a day with the children in the puja. Apart from that, even if we can't make the time, the grandfather will go out with the grandsons to see Tagore.

The actress said, usually I and Yash try to stay in Kolkata during the puja. Because we get to spend time with our family outside of work. Apart from that, many of our friends visit the city on these four days of the year. I got a chance to meet them too. A good time is passed by eating and drinking together.

Every year on the afternoon of Ashtami I love to indulge. Maybe a hundred times I have to be a victim of sarcasm! But still I give Anjali on Ashtami day, I will give Anjali on the next day also. Because faith does not depend on any religion. Does not depend on any language. Belief is a personal decision. I don't care about trolling. Because everyone has the freedom to live their own life. No one can dictate the conditions of another's life. I've seen on social media—women get trolled a bit more. Writing four lines and running away. I don't even know them. So I don't care.

Nusrat said, various comments are being heard about this year's puja. In my opinion, worship is no different. His mood may be different. We are moving through a different time, right. But according to me, the mood of the people involved in the puja is not spoiled. mother is coming I will stand in front of him like every year. I wish you all the best. My city is fighting hard times. May mother bring peace in everyone's life.
