Coal Power Generation Company Bangladesh Limited (CPGCBL), a company wholly owned by the Government of Bangladesh, has published a recruitment circular. In this institution three categories of posts will be appointed from fourth to sixth grade. Interested candidates should fill and send the prescribed form.

1. Post Name: Deputy General Manager (Commercial)

No. of Posts: 1

Eligibility: Four years Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or Marketing from a recognized University/Institute or one year Master's degree with three years honors degree. Candidates with CMA or CA degree will get preference.


Minimum four years work experience in Manager (Finance/Accounts/Audit/Equivalent) in related field. Must have minimum 12 years total work experience as Assistant Manager (Finance/Accounts/Audit/Equivalent) or above. Among them should have three years working experience in power generation/transmission/distribution utility.

Must have expertise in TQM, Company Law, Tax/VAT Rules, Strategic Management and Corporate Governance. Candidates who have obtained third division/class in any examination during their academic career will not be entertained. A minimum of 3.50 on the scale of GPA-5 and a minimum of 2.75 on the scale of CGPA-4 is required for passing in the grading system. Must have participative leadership qualities. Must be proficient in computer operation with communication skills in Bengali and English languages.

Age: Maximum 50 years

Basic Pay: Rs.1,05,000 (Grade-4). Apart from this, house rent, two festival allowances every year, New Year allowance, joint provident fund, group insurance, encashment of earned leave, gratuity, medical allowance will be provided.

2. Post Name: General Manager (Security)

No. of Posts: 1

Qualification: Graduation or Post Graduation from recognized University/Institute. Must be Retired Captain or above in Armed Forces. Preference will be given to officers having work experience in Intelligence Branch/Security Department of Armed Forces. Proof of retirement from service (photocopy of relevant page of pension book/acceptable document) should be submitted.

Candidates who have obtained third division/class in any examination during their academic career will not be entertained. A minimum of 3.50 on the scale of GPA-5 and a minimum of 2.75 on the scale of CGPA-4 is required for passing in the grading system. Must have participative leadership qualities. Must be proficient in computer operation with communication skills in Bengali and English languages.

Age: Maximum 45 years

Basic Pay: Rs.91,000 (Grade-5). Apart from this, house rent, two festival allowances every year, New Year allowance, joint provident fund, group insurance, encashment of earned leave, gratuity, medical allowance will be provided.

3. Post Name: Deputy General Manager (Commercial)

Eligibility: Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or MBA from a recognized University/Institute (four years Bachelor's degree or one year Master's degree with three years honors degree). CMA or CA degree holders will get preference. Should have minimum four years work experience in Assistant Manager/Equivalent or above position in related field. Among them should have two years working experience in power generation/transmission/distribution utility.

Candidates who have obtained third division/class in any examination during their academic career will not be entertained. A minimum of 3.50 on the scale of GPA-5 and a minimum of 2.75 on the scale of CGPA-4 is required for passing in the grading system. Must have participative leadership qualities. Must be proficient in computer operation with communication skills in Bengali and English languages.

Age: Maximum 35 years

Basic Salary: Rs.70,000 (Grade-6). Apart from this, house rent, two festival allowances every year, New Year allowance, joint provident fund, group insurance, encashment of earned leave, gratuity and medical allowance will be provided.

Type of Job: Appointable on contract basis for three years including one year apprenticeship. The tenure of service is renewable up to the age of 60 years with the approval of the Managing Director, CPGCBL on subsequent satisfactory performance evaluation.
