Google imposes certain conditions on phone companies for downloading apps from the Play Store on Android phones. For three years, companies can only use Google-made apps on phones 'by default'. The judge ordered the formation of a three-member monitoring team. These observers will take care that Google refrains from doing this in the future.
The court said that this judgment will be effective from September 1, 2025. In some cases exemption has been given till July 1. The court asked to ensure that Google does not have a monopoly and that rival companies get equal opportunities.
