The Intifada Foundation has demanded that the words 'Except Israel' be reinstated in the passport of Bangladesh. At the same time, they demanded to find out the current level of Israel's relationship with Bangladesh.

Speakers raised this demand at a discussion meeting titled 'Zionist Aggression in Bangladesh: Our Action' at Jahur Hossain Chowdhury Hall of the National Press Club of the capital on Tuesday.

Speakers said, Israel's aggression in Gaza has been going on for a long time. A deadly chapter in the history of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The main causes of this conflict are Palestinian land rights, Israel's military presence and ongoing political tensions between the two sides. Israel's military operations, airstrikes, and ground attacks have occurred repeatedly in the Gaza Strip, creating a dire humanitarian crisis for the Palestinian people. But the Gaza Strip is a part of the Palestinian territory. Which came under the control of Israel after the 1967 Arab-Israeli war. However, although Israel withdrew its troops from Gaza in 2005, Gaza remains under a virtual blockade.

They said that a humanitarian crisis has been created in Gaza due to Israel's continued aggression for a long time. As a result of Israel's military aggression, the people of Gaza are facing a dire humanitarian crisis. Many people died, including many women and children. Palestinians are suffering from the destruction of homes, the destruction of schools and hospitals, and the lack of water and electricity supplies. Although Israel's attack on Gaza has been condemned worldwide, some Western countries, including the United States, have supported Israel's right to self-defense. The speakers pointed out that a well-organized dialogue between the two sides and an active role of the international community are necessary for lasting peace and resolution of the humanitarian crisis.

The speakers also commented that the Hasina government removed the two words 'Except Israel' from the passport due to the Zionist aggression in Bangladesh.

Mentioning that the Zionist aggression is ongoing in Bangladesh, the Bangladeshi coordinator of the Palestine Ulama Parishad and the President of the Intifada Foundation, Muhaiminul Hasan Riyad said, "By aggression, we mean the flow of some events in favor of the Zionists in Bangladesh." Israel's major weapon of diplomatic inaction is the Pegasus spyware and Bangladesh has purchased this mobile spying device from Israel (using a third party). Also through various channels NTMC (National Telecommunication Monitoring Center) has purchased various technologies and Bangladesh army officers have received training from Israeli army officers to use them. Again, the words 'Accept Israel' have been canceled from the country's passport. Despite the false pretext of increasing the quality of the country's passport in the international index, it is later seen that the quality of Bangladesh's passport has further decreased in the international index.

He also said that the conflicting statements of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding this incident have become a cause of public concern. At the same time, he also commented that there has been an incident of introducing the map of Palestine as the map of Israel in the textbooks of Bangladesh.

In the discussion meeting, the Secretary General of the Khilafat Majlis, Professor Dr. Ahmad Abdul Quader, member of the central working council of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South. Shafiqul Islam Masud, Member Secretary of My Bangladesh Party (AB Party) Mojibur Rahman Manju, Joint Secretary General of Hefazte Islam Bangladesh Mufti Harun Izhar and others.
