Lebanon's Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri is working for Hezbollah's ceasefire with Israel. Naeem Kassem, one of the group's top leaders, has backed the leader's cease-fire efforts, known as an ally of Hezbollah. Khabar al-Arabiya.

In a 30-minute televised message on Tuesday (October 8), the Hezbollah leader said, "We support the political steps being taken by Berri for a ceasefire."

"Diplomatically, after the ceasefire comes into effect, other issues can be discussed and decided." But if the enemy (Israel) continues to fight, then the final decision will be on the battlefield," added Naeem.

However, the Hezbollah leader did not say anything about the cease-fire in Gaza in this speech. Through this, for the first time, the issue of cease-fire in Gaza was omitted from the speech of a top Hezbollah leader.

Incidentally, after the start of Israel's aggression in Gaza in October last year, Hezbollah attacked Israel with the support of Hamas. Their conflict with Israel continued for almost 11 months. However, last September, Israel launched direct airstrikes on Lebanon's capital, Beirut, and its suburbs.

Hezbollah chief Hasan Nasrullah lost his life in one such attack. After several days of airstrikes, Israel sent troops to Lebanon. Now there is a bloody fight between Israel and Hezbollah on the Lebanese border.

Meanwhile, more than 2,000 people have lost their lives in Israeli attacks in various areas of Lebanon, according to the country's Ministry of Health.
