A case has been filed against former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's house for obstruction of work and attempted murder by placing a truck full of sand in front of her house. 113 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have been accused in the case.

Shariful Islam Shaon, a member of the central committee of the Nationalist Farmers' Party, filed the case at the Gulshan Police Station on Friday afternoon. However, the police said that the case has not been recorded yet.

At 6:30 in the evening, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gulshan Police Station Touhid Ahmed told Jugantar that a complaint has been made in this regard. No case has been registered yet. The complaint is being reviewed.

On December 29, 2013, several sand-filled trucks were placed in front of Gulshan's residence of the then opposition leader Khaleda Zia. On that day, he could not participate in the 'March for Democracy' program announced by BNP.

Apart from this, BNP alleged that Khaleda Zia was kept under house arrest by keeping a truck full of sand in front of her house for a long time.
