The fugitive accused are threatening the death of the plaintiff Parvez Ahmed for filing a case against 83 people in connection with the attack on the activists of Awami League, Jubo League and Chhatra League during the march of anti-discrimination students. In this incident, on Monday afternoon, he filed a GD at Kulaura Police Station seeking safety of his life.

In the complaint lodged at the police station, Parvez Ahmad said that the armed group of Awami League attacked the anti-discrimination march on July 25. Terrorists attacked with batons injuring many students and detonated cocktails. Later, when the government fell on August 5, a case was filed in Kulaura Police Station against 83 leaders and activists of Kulaura Upazila Awami League and other 50 unknown people as defendants.

The police have already arrested 6-7 people but the main protagonists of the incident are still out of reach. Some of the accused issued several death threats to the plaintiff Parvez Ahmed in public and through mobile phone. He is suffering from extreme insecurity about this. He informed the army of Kulaura camp. Later, on the advice of the army, he filed a GD at the Kulaura police station.

In this regard, Kulaura Police Station OC Golam Apchar said that Parvez Ahmad is making a GD seeking the safety of his life. Those who have threatened the plaintiff in the case will be brought to justice swiftly.
