He warned in a letter written to the United Nations that there could be possible changes in the constitution. If these are implemented, the independence and human rights of the country's judiciary will be threatened. On Tuesday, Jio News reported the news about special sources.

Imran Khan made this appeal to Margaret Satterwaite, UN Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers, through Edward Fitzgerald, Tatiana Eatwell and Jennifer Robinson.

Earlier, Imran Khan had written to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) requesting an audit of Pakistan's election results. But his request was ignored by the IMF.

At that time Imran Khan's move was criticized for jeopardizing the economic stability of the country for political interests and the current government reacted strongly.

Possible constitutional reforms under discussion include raising the retirement age of judges and the creation of a constitutional court. Imran Khan and his party are strongly opposing it.

Initially, it is expected that the issue of constitutional change will be raised next month.

In an appeal to the UN official, Imran Khan expressed concern about the possible 26th constitutional amendment, saying the law posed a serious threat to the rule of law.

The petition has also urged the UN Special Envoy to urgently communicate with Islamabad in this regard.
