Meher News, citing the Times of Israel, reported that Hezbollah fired 100 rockets at the port city of Haifa in 30 minutes. Some of its rockets were intercepted by air defense systems. A few more rockets hit Hifar at different places.
In a video circulating on social media, one of Hezbollah's largest-scale rocket attacks caused extensive damage to homes in Haifa, Kiryat Yam and Kiryat Motzin, Israel.
The Times of India reported that one person has been injured in the attack so far.
Incidentally, Israel's defense forces have launched an operation in southern Lebanon since September 23 to destroy Iran-backed Hezbollah. Hezbollah's most important bases and military installations are in southern Lebanon. In response, Hezbollah is regularly firing rockets at Israeli border towns.
The country's Ministry of Health has said that more than 2,000 people have been killed in the last two weeks of the Israeli army's operation in Lebanon. Besides, more than 1.2 million people have been displaced due to the situation. Among the dead were Hezbollah's main leader Hassan Nasrullah and several top commanders.
