He was arrested in a raid in Mougail area of ​​the city on Monday night. He is the son of deceased Khabir Chowdhury of North Mourail area.

The notification informed that there are six cases against top terrorist Ravi Chowdhury including murder and sabotage. Among them, he is the 7th accused in a murder case. He also has multiple cases of robbery and extortion. He is accused of sabotage and attempt to kill a policeman.

On Monday night, a smart team of the army led by Captain Bulbul Ahmed, consisting of RAB and police personnel, conducted an operation in North Mourail area. At that time, joint forces arrested Ravi Chowdhury while consuming drugs at his own residence.
