The storm will hit areas near downtown Tampa. More than 3 million people live in this metropolitan area. The storm's impact could bring heavy rains, flash floods and strong waves to coastal areas.


According to the weather forecast, the impact of Hurricane Milton may cause waves of 10 to 15 feet in coastal areas. The hurricane was in category 1 until Sunday. Later it is converted into category 4 by transferring energy quickly. At last it reached category 5. The storm will cross the Gulf of Mexico and hit Florida.
