Zoom-Bangla Desk: A student has been accused of occupying a seat under the influence of seniority in the Sheikh Hasina Hall of Comilla University (Kubi). First write to the hall administration that he was subjected to such behavior when he went to the allocated seat from the hall administration. The aggrieved student submitted a complaint to the university proctor without getting any remedy. The accused is Mahmuda Tahira, a student of Pharmacy 11th batch. The victim student is Munira Akhter, a 13th cycle student of Finance and Banking department.

In the complaint, Munira mentioned that even though the country has regained independence, I have been deprived of my rights unfairly. On March 20th of this year, I got W-1 seat allotted in room 218 of the hall. However, Kazi Faiza Mehjabin, former president of BCL and 11th cycle student of Public Administration Department, who was in that seat, continues to explain various political issues and the administration even after completing her university studies legally. I failed to get on the seat. However, Qazi Faiza Mehzabeen left the seat in late July during the agitation. Immediately after the fall of the government, the 1st semester examination of my master's degree took place and as the examination date was from 2nd September, I came to the hall on 29th August and went to take my allotted seat. But then one of the 12th batch Tawfeeka in the room told me that 11th batch Mahmuda Tahira (Pharmacy department) is staying in the seat. I should sit on the door of the room.

Since I was suffering even after getting a legal seat for a long time, I refused to board any seat other than my own. When Mahmuda told Tahira to take the seat, she told me, I have been here for a long time, don't come to teach me the rules. Not being able to convince me at one point of the conversation, he told me in a harsh language, I will not leave the seat, you can get up. Not being able to get to my seat, I informed the administration about the situation. The hall authorities spoke to Mahmuda Tahira and subsequently sent her a notice to take her seat on 23rd September to vacate my seat . However, ignoring this notice from the authorities, he is still in my seat.

Aggrieved student Munira Akhter said, I am sitting like a refugee in someone else's seat even though I have my own legal seat. Since last 6 months I am not able to get my seat only because of arbitrariness of seniors. My seat is still occupied even after giving a notice from the administration.

Complainant Mahmuda Tahira said, I actually prevented him from entering the room, it is not the case I have been in this seat for a long time, everything is arranged and I will be leaving in a few days so I asked him to take the seat next to me. But he will not get up, he will get up in this seat. He is trying to force me out of the seat.

Hall administration reportedly asked you to change seats. This is what he said, Sir told me.

Manarat International University students are protesting

This is the subject of the university's proctor professor. Md. Abdul Hakim said that there is currently no provost in Sheikh Hasina Hall, so the administrative space of the hall can be said to be vacant. But we hope that the Provost will be appointed there soon. We will take appropriate action on this matter immediately after appointment of Provost.
