Zoom-Bangla Desk: Former and current students have been protesting in the Gulshan campus of Manarat International University for the past four days. They are continuing their agitation to cancel the decision to change the main campus and keep the main campus in Gulshan. Meanwhile, Gulshan campus suddenly became hot on Wednesday (October 9).

It has been alleged that on Wednesday afternoon some outsiders entered the Gulshan campus and threatened. This mainly caused excitement among the students.

Talking to several students, it is known that the transfer of accounts department of Gulshan campus to Ashulia campus, the decision to give some class rooms of the university to Manarat school, students erupted in protest. When a group of them met with the current VC, they found the behavior counterintuitive. At that time, they were accused of using indecent language and disrespectful use. It was then that the students decided to strike. For the last four days, they occupied the campus and started raising various slogans.

Students complain that the previous board of trustees has been reconstituted. Besides, some teachers were forced to resign because of the attempt to make the campus permanent in Gulshan. The agitating current and former students demanded the reinstatement of teachers who were forced to resign and not to change the Gulshan campus. Otherwise, they have announced the closure of all academic activities.
